Momenteel is de huidige codebase nog gebaseerd op .NET 6. Echter is inmiddels .NET 8 al een aantal weken beschikbaar.

Om de API up to date te houden zou deze geupgrade moeten worden naar .NET 8. Dit zou manueel kunnen als met de upgrade assistant van Microsoft.

Belangrijk is omdat er gebruik gemaakt wordt van EF Core en deze geupdate wordt van 6 naar 8, de breaking changes tussen deze versies in zicht zijn. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/ef/core/what-is-new/ef-core-8.0/breaking-changes
