That being said, this content may already be described in Open MPI's mpirun(1) man page docs (either by duplicating PRTE content or including the PRTE content directly). That will need to be checked / evaluated.
The goal of this issue is to remove the OMPI PRTE docs/ directory, since anything relevant will now be in the Open MPI docs.
This is likely a stretch goal for the semester.

Hmmm...just a thought, but breaking all connection means that changes to the PRRTE docs will no longer be available in OMPI. There are quite a few updates on tap (in response to user requests) that will therefore be missed or require someone to manually do the port. Might be something to consider unless someone has managed to identify a full-time resource for the OMPI runtime.
