Every data channel message has an acknowledgement from remote side. acknowledgements are transmitted over signaling channel. When one endpoint frequently sends messages through data channel, it will significantly increase P2P server's workload. As P2P server is designed to carry signaling messages, we don't expect so much data exchange over it.
