Media player does not play video (black screen, no sound)

Describe the bug / Actual behaviour:
When I try to play any video file (including records made by the same box!), the Media player shows only a black screen with no sound (Player's progress bar is visible). The same files play OK in the EMC plugin.

Expected behaviour:
I expect to see the recorded video and hear its sound.

Has this issue started to happen just recently?
It never worked for me.

To reproduce:
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Open plugin browser and start the Media player (Or invoke it in any other way)
2. Choose a video file and try to play it.
3. Black-silent video is "playing"

• Version: 7.4
• BoxModel: Sezam Marvel

OpenATV 7.4 (openatv-7.4-sezammarvel-20240910_usb.zip) from https://images.mynonpublic.com/openatv/current/index.php?open=sezammarvel is installed. It is a default installation + t2mi builder and internet-speedtest pugins. No custom skins.

Additional context
Installing FFMpeg package did not help. Am I missing some gstreamer packages not installed by default?

This is very weird because EMC, MovieSelection and Media player using the same playback function.

Maybe the Media Palyer fails to start playing? I tried the DLNA browser (client) plugin today, which calls the same Media player to play files from DLNA shares, and noticed that even static jpeg pictures get stuck with eternal "Please, wait while the image is loading".

Where can I find a possible error log specifically from the MediaPlayer?

You can enable debug log and check what's in the log if you press play.
