Would it be possible to add a simple option to download + open a grib-file from a user-known URL-location (saves download via webbrowser and open from downloaded-file) :
a menu-option is possible too much work (although also fine), but a command-line option should be simple to add and saves user interaction; just start XYgrib and up-to-date info for specific area is displayed.
Thanks for considering this feature.
