A common user interest is likely to be viewing upcoming meetings but also see the last few days in case the meeting of interest was recently held. All this information is currently available but requires several clicks.
A new option could either add past meetings for the last week to the "Upcoming" list or it could open the full list of meeting for the current year and place the next upcoming meeting at the center of the screen. Either strategy would allow the user to immediate scroll back to see meeting recently held.
Both the filter feature and hamburger menu give options for viewing other time period so I image both of the access point being modified for the new viewing option.

As an additional thought to above: When making it easier to view upcoming and past meetings in the same screen it would help to orient the viewer by giving a different background color, font type and color, or some other visual cue to differentiate past from upcoming meetings.
