NOTE: moving this issue from bedrock since this is now the theme spinner (opensourcery/bedrock#1).

@adamdicarlo did a bunch of work towards this on the original version, as seen here...

We need to get this markup in place to satisfy the accessibility requirements. Let's be sure to "Aurora-fy" these additions.

I wonder if we should split this out into separate issues per template to make this more digestable?
