Seeking Mentor Feedback for Project 14: Add time-series anomaly detection support to Anomalib. & Project 20: Eyes health utilizing OpenVINO and Neural Processing Unit (NPU) on an AI PC.

Dear Mentors,

I'm excited to express my interest in participating in Google Summer of Code 2024 with the OpenVINO Toolkit. My journey with OpenVINO began when I investigated into NPU-based devices and explored ways to enhance AI inference on my PC. Discovering the capabilities of the OpenVINO toolkit further ignited my passion for contributing to it. I joined the community a while back in mid jan.

As an undergraduate student in computer science and UX designer, I am deeply fascinated by computer vision ,deep learning, UX design. I enjoy the blend of mathematics, programming and user experience in these domains. Currently, I'm focused on expanding my knowledge of computer vision, particularly on Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs).

I've prepared two draft proposals outlining my approach. Your expertise and feedback on refining these proposals and addressing my doubts would be immensely valuable.

I'm exploring the utilization of OpenVINO and Neural Processing Unit (NPU) technology for eye health monitoring. However, I'm uncertain about the necessity of an integrated NPU into the AI PC system be essential for this project?
