When a user is creating OKE clusters they have the ability to create multiple node pools. These node pools may well be being designed to run as different hardware for specific reasons or indeed to segregate workloads where customers feel the need. Being able to add kubernetes labels to these node pools is possible in the OCI console and needs to be surfaced in OKIT.
