Name Change November and Org Teams

The legal name change with the State of Nevada will almost certainly be delayed due to holidays and general malaise in the Secretary of State's office, but the outward-facing names and logos and whatnot will be changing in the mean time. This means the name of this org (CodeForVegas) will be changing as well, so if you have any repositories pointing back to this org, they will need to be updated before pushing, or simply deleted and re-cloned (or just deleted).

The actual news will be posted to the Active Members team here, which has been pruned down to people who are actually working on projects (not on hiatus, not on to other things, not disappeared completely), so that when the name switches over we can keep the chaos to a minimum.

If you have been removed from any team(s) that you would like to be re-added to, drop an email to [email protected] (which will remain active before and after the name change, that's already taken care of) with your github handle and which team(s) you would like to be added to.

Our GitHub Nonprofit Teams tier is still pending, a month after their target turn-around, but that's how life is sometimes. The org name change will take place as soon after that approval is granted as possible, to check that off the to-do list.
