My coins went into a black hole. #13707
-
So I set up Wasabi wallet, clicked the "receive bitcoin" button, and deposited several thousand dollars worth into the displayed address. The deposited amount popped up and it said that it was awaiting confirmation. I went on a blockchain explorer and saw that it had confirmed, and it wasn't showing up as confirmed in my Wasabi interface, so I closed Wasabi and reopened it. And lo and behold, it said I have a zero balance. It is connected properly, there is a little white check mark in the bottom right of the screen. Scary. Then I went to the "wallet stats" and it says number of clean addresses 84, number of used addresses 85. So there is some record of the transaction in my wallet. But my balance still says zero. What am I doing wrong? Are my funds lost? |

Hello, first thing verify that you downloaded the software from wasabiwallet.io, the official wesite. If yes, try resync: https://docs.wasabiwallet.io/FAQ/FAQ-UseWasabi.html#how-do-i-resync-rescan-my-wallet |

I figured it out! I had never completely downloaded the necessary parts of the blockchain. My VPN was getting in the way. I switched it off and everything worked out fine. Thanks to both of you for taking the time to assist me though! |
