Why are some transactions labeled "semi-private" when they have a higher privacy score than some labeled fully private? #13712
-
I have one wallet with a privacy score of 9 that is still showing up as semi-private, and requires another coinjoin round. At the same time, there is more than one wallet in my "ring" (probably not the right term) with a privacy score of 8 that registers as fully private. Why is this? What is going on? I have it set for speed, so only a score of 5 is supposedly needed. What gives? |

You have a keen eye, your coin's semi private status is a result a hidden feature that was designed to protect certain UTXOs with weak privacy from being spent together. It's called "Safety Coinjoins", you can read more about it here - #10567 When your UTXO is remixed one more time, it will be assigned full privacy. |
