Need Help retrieving funds on Wasabi Wallet #5175

I attempted to send some BTC from my wasabi wallet to another wallet. Somehow when I created the QR code to send the coins to it went to an invalid wallet. there are 0 confirmations on the transaction so its out in cyberspace and I need help retrieving it. Can anyone help me? |

I don't understand what you mean by did you double check that the address that you put into wasabi is actually the one from your receiving wallet? |

is there anyway I can call you or you can call me to explain?
I accidentally sent my BTC to a bad wallet... and not its saying that its
sent but there are no confirmations on the transaction

Wasabi does a checksum verification of the address, so it cannot be an invalid
address.
did you double check that the address that you put into wasabi is actually
the one from your receiving wallet?

Your only chance is for the transaction to get dropped from the mempool, and therefor you get your funds back. |

I just had a call with @BradyHeyward and we figured it out. The transaction was sent to the correct address, and did pay a reasonably high enough mining fee. However, mempool is rather full, and thus the transaction is as expected still not confirmed. The issue and confusion was, that the receiving wallet apparently does not show unconfirmed transactions! I hope that everything will be cleared up once the transaction is confirmed, which should happen within 10 blocks or so. |

So now the transaction is still unconfirmed and its just sitting in the
history... it hasnt been sent or received and I dont know what to do
