Update: I found out how to switch graphs using PC messages (it was in the manual of course) but ran into CPU issues big time with more than 2 graphs. I used a very basic approach of duplicating the root graph and changing plugins as required - since many of them remain unchanged maybe there's a better way to do this for plugins common to all graphs? Also, it seems that any MIDI mapping is lost on duplicated graphs - am I doing something wrong? |

I'm new to the world of VST hosts, and have been playing with Element for a whole day now (great piece of software BTW, thank you). I've been able to set up a plugin chain, route audio and MIDI, map external MIDI controllers etc so I’m getting there slowly. So - workflow... I'm used to the concept of setting up effect / instrument / etc racks and switching between them using a MIDI foot controller. What is the equivalent in Element? Is what I'd call a 'rack' a 'graph' in Element? Or a session? Or something else? How do I switch between them on the fly using a controller? I use a LOT of racks/graphs/whatevers per gig and there seems to be CPU issues with multiple graphs as all plugins for all graphs are loaded? I guess what I'm really asking is - what's your recommended setup for live performance? Or if there's a blog/tutorial etc I've missed please point me at it.
