No problem, we've all been there. The latest develop branch probably does not have this problem though. If it does, then can convert this to a real issue in github.

@ciacob It is always useful to first of all describe your configuration, your problem, and the steps to repeat it in some detail.
Being appreciative of the free labor of love of the contributors never hurts.
I just tried this on a Mac Studio with Sonoma 14.4.1 and it worked as advertised on the first try.
I have Logic Pro, Ableton, tons of plugins, and some MIDI hardware. This looks like the perfect tool to debug odd behavior in the way Apple's AU Lab should, but does not.

I am sorry, I was on Windows 11, don't know if I mentioned that. Element was running in standalone mode when I observed the behaviour. When running from inside MuseScore 4, it didn't work at all. If you are serioys about debugging this, I can do a screen recording, just let me know.
