Audio out???

Hi,
OSX Sequoia; M2 Mac Mini.

New to Element, so this may be a dumb question, but...
When I instantiate an Audio Out object (right click; select Audio Output) I get a blank grey box with no green ports to connect to. (Similarly with the Audio Input object). In the Node panel on the left it says :see Preferences.
I've selected my preferred audio I/O in the Options menu, and checked it in the Preferences window.
I added a mixer object to my audio chain, and can see the meters moving there, so I know audio is "happening", but can't see how to output it.

Another question - when I opened my previously saved graph, my keyboard Midi In object wasn't working (no data coming out of it). I had to create a new Midi In for my midi keyboard, which worked. Is there something I'm missing here?

If the audio out is added before a device is selected, it won't show any ports. In the Graph panel, on the left, click the "+" to add some to it.

That could be a small bug, would have to investigate.

Fantastic - thanks for that. It's working now. Also, no problem with the existing midi in in the graph this time.

Excellent. I'll probably end up adding some code, if possible, to help do guess work to keep those port-less nodes from popping in.
