Open Office - 6th July 2023

Hey gang, getting ahead of this week's open office as I, unfortunately, won't be able to make it again (wedding venue visit...) and I am keen that we keep the momentum up.

Would it be possible to get a more detailed text update on where we are with everything @il3ven @neatonk @oakgroupworldwide? Especially if there are any outstanding issues that need to be resolved or decisions that need to be made.

From my end:

• @reimertz with the decision to go forward with the current hosting solution, I am still waiting to hear back about which wallet to transfer $400 of the github funds to to pay for a year of hosting
• @oakgroupworldwide how are things going w.r.t engaging with the Lens community and building content?
• We previously eyed the 13th July as the 2nd Lens milestone, generally, how are we feeling about that?
• The Github matching funds appear to still be not here, but I think that we should move forwards with setting out the bounties
  • Therefore I think we should seek consensus here on how we want this to look this week.
• @reimertz 's post re: Optimism deserves attention, @il3ven what is the play here? Is it as simple as we just need to write the strategy or is there more to consider?

@djfnd I'm setting up a call with a community manager at Lens today to discuss what are potential marketing channels to start preparing content for syndication. The first step is to actually identify these channels in order to begin prepping content distribution according to the neume lore proposition.

Are there any immediate suggestions or feedback to offer? It can be helpful in preparation for the call. Otherwise, I will report back once I've gathered enough intel to make a reasonably good decision on how to move forward re: content.

Great stuff, and apologies for the tardiness in reply, it was my stag (bachelor) party this past weekend, so I've been fairly AFK for a few days... :)

hey there, it went great. claire wants to pair us up with an integrations lead (bradley or christina) and start building shared context to best understand how to start building awareness around neume. i think it'd be a good idea to sync up on a quick call with her to start facilitating some content strategies on lens ecosystem.

@djfnd As anticipated, this has been a busy month for me. The 13th still works fine, but I would not be opposed to delaying the second milestone if needed. No updates from me at this time.

@djfnd sadly and sorry for the short notice.. I won't be able to attend today but will answer the pending question.

I have gotten approval that we can continue to use our infrastructure for this and paying to our wallet should be fine. But before I can confirm, I need to verify with Cloudflare that we do have access to optimism since I have have no ability to turn that on as of now even though we have an enterprise plan.

Hey team, I have been down with fever. Sadly, wasn't able to do any work this week. I think we will have to delay the second Lens milestone. Regarding optimism, it should be as simple as writing a new strategy because it is an EVM compatible chain. If Sound hasn't changed the protocol the strategy should take two days to write.
