Was there a call? Sorry again for being unavailable do to the power outage. WHen I finally got situated at the co-working space I found, I was rewarded with a measly 10Mbps of bandwidth on the WiFi. Had to find another spot cause that felt almost like dial-up.

Moving on. I have significantly improved the Abstract and Motivation sections of neuIP-5, which you can find here. The next step for me will be to incorporate this into a write-up for the neume blog as previously mentioned.

I had been working on a more general post about the trend toward "minimum viable decentralization" or "unbundling blockchain" and the place of Neume and neuIP-5 in that, but that would require more research and possibly interviews to be relevant. Instead, I'll focus on the motivations behind neuIP-5 and tie that into the observed trend towards "unbundling blockchain". I have ideas, but I am not a writer.

Starting in September (possibly sooner), I'll have significantly more bandwidth for all of this. At that point, I'd like to put more time into the spec and reference implementation of neuIP-5.
