The new MRIQC 23.1.0 has just arrived!
(see the release notes)
The latest version of MRIQC has just been posted to celebrate a few prosperous years.
New features
The latest release addresses some indexing problems that made MRIQC take forever to run on large datasets MRIQC is way faster now thanks to improvements in the underlying PyBIDS library.
Further, MRIQC reports have been migrated to the new NiReports system, completely homogeneous with fMRIPrep and the other -preps. This means that MRIQC's in-house reports system (as in within MRIQC's repo) has been abandoned and removed from the codebase (greatly simplifying maintenance and increasing interoperability).
We have steadily continued the adaptation to rodent anatomical and functional MRI, led by @eilidhmacnicol and her invaluable perspectives. If you are into mice and/or rats, be sure to check the new release out!
Finally, with substantial collaboration from @arokem and his lab (@mckenziephagen, @teresamg) as well as @jelleveraart, we can announce the support for diffusion MRI in MRIQC!!!! Please note that, at the moment, this is being piloted as a beta version and it still lacks of substantial parts of the implementation (e.g., it doesn't generate IQMs).
Thanks
This new release is only possible with the dedication of many of the NiPreps Community members. Thank you.
