It would be really very useful to be able to have and run the Linux Machines in different directories on different disks.
For example, machines that are used less often on an external disk, the others on the Mac disk.
Move a machine from an external disk to an internal one (think of those who use a laptop, very uncomfortable to use an external disk on the go or if you move the laptop frequently) and vice versa.
