How can I change image's brightness?

Hello. I'm a newcomer to pydicom and I don't even understand type of my dicom image. How can I change image's brightness?

How an image should be displayed in DICOM is defined by lookup tables (LUTs) that are defined in DICOM tags. Mostly this is done in the DICOM tags WindowCenter and WindowWidth (note that the links are specific to MR images), though there are other possibilities.
pydicom itself is not about rendering images, but it has some convenience functions that help to apply these lookup tables to image data from a DICOM file - you can find them in the documentation.

Have you checked the documentation link I posted and tried that code snippet? What didn't work? You have to be a bit more specific...
