Stefan has left the board and we would like to find a replacement. Stockholm has informed us that they have difficulties finding a relevant person. We will ask Fintraffic if they would like to have a representative in the board.
Status
Working Groups
All working groups are active. Things are going well, we have more and more manufacturers that are active in the WGs and on GitHub.
Because we have six working groups, there's quite a lot of meetings and work. David and Emil are beginning to be a bit stretched, and we would therefore like to begin appointing leads for individual working groups, so get more people preparing proposals, which can then be coordinated/reviewed by the board.
We would prefer persons from road authorities, and with relevant skills in programming/engineering.
New WG on Tools
We have decided to initiate a new WG on RSMP test and validation tools.
Roadmap
From the charter: "Technical roadmaps should specify overall technical directions and should indicate when new version of the RSMP specifications are expected to be released.". Steering group might have supplementary roadmaps dealing with how to attract new partners, funding, etc.
What's the purpose of a technical roadmap?
Show a path through a complex landscape. What will we focus on, what challenges will be deal with?
