MQTT

We looked more into how RSMP 4 could potentially be build on MQTT, see:
rsmp-nordic/rsmp_core_v4#1

MQTT includes solutions to many of the challenges that RSMP also tries to solve. This is reflected in functions such as:

• client ids
• retained messages
• response topics
• correlation data

MQTT seems like an interesting option for the next version of RSMP.

Next

Look into whether/how MQTT includes timestamps and how we could use them. Or would we include them in the payloads?

It would be great to do some practical experiments. One experiment is in:
https://github.com/rsmp-nordic/rsmp-mqtt

Examples of concrete commands and statuses, eg. from Traffic Light Controllers. For example, how would intersections be handled?

Authentication and permissions: Could different supervisors have different rights, and how would they be authorised?
