Turn on / off favorites groups visibility - Missing feature iOS #4307
Comments
For the 1., you can "Hide" some My Places folders to hide all favorites in them from the map. |
Hi! We are currently working on a sharing function that will allow users to share Favorites groups and individual Tracks. This function is already available in the Web version. However, I believe you could also try using OsmAnd Cloud with one account on different devices. In this scenario, changes made on one device can be synced/downloaded to other devices. |
hey guys, thank you for so quick response! I checked Android version - it really has a bit different interface and this option I mentioned - that`s great! thank you! do you plan to include it in iOS version? |
Describe the idea
Osmand for evacution of civilians
Few non-governmental organizations in Ukraine, who perform evacuation of civilians since 2022, have found Osmand as the bast solution for evacuation routes near the frontline. We use it for navigation as well as in exchanging very important information about safe ways to take people out, the overall situation in the area. We are very grateful for this app! Thank you!
Nevertheless we wanted to propose a couple of things to develop the program, which could make our work with the map more effective.
To add the possibility to turn off/on the folders from My Places without deleting the folders.
To make possible to edit folders online with few participants having access to this folder (like google doc, for example).
we actively use "plan a route" function, but when we face Electronic Warfare working in the area we perform evacuation, sometimes it interrupts GPS signal for some time. do you think it is possible to use phone sensor to help navigating in this situations?
