Should all icon management be removed from the application portion of the project?

It seems more clean and manageable to remove all icon dealings from the Clojure portion of the project. The goal should to build a leiningen plugin for build all three native wrappers which takes a single config file. Since there will need to be three different desktop application configurations anyway, it would be nice to have the base standalone (and lein run version) be vanilla so it works for folks developing on any os
