Currently teaser images are generated by splicing screenshots together.

This has the drawback that they need to be all manually remade when the site is updated, or they become out of date.
Ideally there would be another flask app to run that generates the demo pages with html and takes the screenshots using redertron/chromes --screenshot feature.
