Migrating Slate to Lexical

Hi team, I am currently migrating my old Slate from Payload v2 to new Lexical Payload v3.

I have successfully converted everything, but I was stuck on this last thing when creating BlocksFeature with richtext type:

You have tried to pass in data from the old Slate editor to the new Lexical editor. The data structure is different, thus you will have to migrate your data. I've read the documentation to run the script which is:

import { migrateSlateToLexical } from '@payloadcms/richtext-lexical/migrate'

await migrateSlateToLexical({ payload })

But where should I run this from?
And where I can import the { payload } object?

Ok so payload can be imported like import payload, { buildConfig } from 'payload'.

But I encountered new error:

Hey @s-en-o,

You shouldn't import the payload object like that if your intention is to use it as a BasePayload instance like those docs suggest. Have a look here on how to import payload using the getPayload method.

Thanks @akhrarovsaid! Do I need to run await migrateSlateToLexical({ payload }) within the payload.config.ts file?

I.E:

import { buildConfig, getPayload } from 'payload'
import config from '@payload-config'
import { migrateSlateToLexical } from '@payloadcms/richtext-lexical/migrate'

const payload = await getPayload({ config })

export default buildConfig({
  // configuration...
})

await migrateSlateToLexical({ payload })
