Multiple edit sessions from one user

Describe the bug
If a document is opened by the same person multiple times, OOS shows it's being edited by multiple different people (shows the same name multiple times)

Expected behavior
Not sure if this is by design or if it should show just a single name - verify.

To Reproduce

• Open a word doc by one person multiple times

Environment:

• OOS 16.0.10338.20039

Experience exactly the same. Doesn't "UserInfo" need to be implemented for this to work?
My memory is fuzzy when I was implementing WOPI a few years ago, but I think this should be implemented. Or not?
Also, how co-authoring is enabled without user info?!

Looks like this bug depends on the version of the office.
It does happen with 2016, but does not happen with OfficeOnline, as of my experience.
If you refresh the page with OfficeOnline, new users don't appear.
