Retrieving and storing auto-calculated item height from Virtuoso

How can I implement the following behavior in a React Virtuoso component: retrieve the auto-calculated item height, store it in a state variable, and use it in another component? Here is an example for my needed behaviour:

function App() {
  const [itemHeight, setItemHeight ] = useState() 
  
  return (
    <>
      <Virtuoso {/* props */} />
      <AnotherComponent height={itemHeight} />
    </>
  );
}
