Our Roadmap

I would like to share the roadmap of the DDEV Integration Plugin with you.

We could address most of the issues that were found during the testing of alpha2 in alpha3.
After fixing acutal bugs we would like to find out if the behavior of any feature has to change to fit your needs better or if anything important is missing. We will also finish any incomplete features like the (interactive) documentation.

What we did so far

1.0.0-alpha1 (20 Mar 2022)

First working prototype with very basic functionality

1.0.0-alpha2 (15 Apr 2022)

Most of the features planned for v1.0 are ready, basic documentation. Start of public alpha testing.

1.0.0-alpha3 (08 Mai 2022)

Fixing the issues discovered in public alpha testing, optimizing existing features and adding requested ones.
For details check out the changelog.

What comes next

1.0.0-beta (Early June)

We plan to finish the documentation and the current features till June. There will be a feature freeze when entering beta testing.
Below you will find a list of issues we like to address in this release.

1.0.0 (End of June) 🎉

We plan to finish our work on the first stable release in June.

This release will proabably contain:

• Bugfixes
• Documentation updates
• Dependency updates

1.1.0 (tbd)

We already have features that we would like to provide to you, after the initial stable release of the plugin. These include:

• Auto provide run configurations for custom DDEV commands
• Better integrate DDEV Share
• Integrated terminal for other containers than web
• Automated DDEV Installation and Updates
