Clause 6.5.6 identifies the observables for service 5. One of them is defined as follows: "the accumulated number of detected event occurrences", This definition is ambiguous in the following case:
(a) Event report R is configured to report the occurrence of on-board event E
(b) Suppose that the ground has disabled event report R by means of command (5,5)
(c) Suppose that, while the event report R is disabled, the event E occurs
Should the "accumulated number of detected event occurrences" be incremented in the scenario described above? The PUS Extension of the CORDET Framework gives a positive answer to this question but the point should be clarified at PUS level.
