As for the feedback, not sure if you'd use it with app-only auth, but in case you would, CLI will show you the name of the app used for auth. You'd need to verify how MGT cmdlets handle it though.

The tooltip will display the output of m365 status and I'm assuming that the user knows how to interpret that output.

What do you mean by "MGT cmdlets"?
