A dropper for the large (main) paint panel is complicated by the 3 layers and the degree of transparency for each. For that, I am not sure what the best behavior is? Possibly just pick the visible color mix, but that may not be the historical color due to mix. If the request is to have a dropper on the main panel, pleas make a new issue.
For now this issue #1 will focus on a history of color selection and a way to restore the selected color.
