Customize position of the notification message window

Would it be possible to be able to customize the position of the notification message window that pops up with to.set_notification_message? It often covers us text fields or other common UI elements of other applications. Being able to move that notification to the top-right corner would be enough, since that's where Mac-native notifications go. Alternatively, perhaps KE could use those Mac-native notifications instead of the custom ones?

As well as that, I would like some additional configuration options. E.g. transparency, monospace fonts, etc. I use the notification area as a "whichkey" type thing, so monospace would definitely be useful!
