– I took a brief tour of the safety & health section of the beta site. The site is very well done and easy to navigate. Several comments:
• I assume alternate language(s) and graphics will be added at a later time. Basic graphical examples of a Haz Com label, PPE, etc. would be helpful, especially for users with limited literacy.
• The 5 job titles the user can choose seem limited – could make one think that if they are not one of those named workers then the site doesn’t apply to them. Maybe ‘other’ option and/or a title to address agricultural/migrant labor?
-Day Laborer
-Office Worker
-Nail Salon Worker
-Restaurant Worker
-Construction Worker
• Since the site seems to be aimed toward at-risk employment, could there be a filter for age <18, since different labor laws apply to minors?
