No help available for steadystate/transient switch #97

The help command doesn't provide any information about the -steadystate (-ss) or -transient (-tr) switch.
(see: Running PRISM / Computing Steady-state And Transient Probabilities)

Since I'm running into the problem: "Error: Iterative method did not converge within 10000 iterations.
Consider using a different numerical method or increasing the maximum number of iterations."
, some pointers regarding which additional parameters I could try would've been very useful.

Hi,

thanks for the report. Yes, indeed, that's a good point. You can use -power or -gs, usually those converge if the default method does not converge.

We'll have a look how to best update the manual and/or error message.

Thanks for the quick reply. Both -power and -gs allowed me to find the steady state.
