dbind-WARNING

I can't seem to get this to work on Linux. It opens up just fine, but whenever I run it, I get this and it refuses to link to my soundpack folder:

Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.

I've downloaded all dependencies, so I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
