I wanted to inform you that I am using the IRDB in an open-source project for a universal remote control designed for the M5Cardputer device. Although this is not a commercial project, I wanted to ensure transparency and compliance with your licensing terms.
I have included all necessary references and licenses for both the IRDB and MakeHex. I greatly appreciate the work you and all the contributors have put into this project, and I wanted to acknowledge that clearly in my own work.
Thank you for creating such a valuable resource.
Best regards,

Hi geo-tp,
your ultimate remote sounds very interesting!!
My colleagues at University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien in Vienna develop Open Source technologies for people with disabilities. For example there is the Open Source Alternative and Augmentative web application AsTeRICS Grid, which also allows to do environmental control with Open HAB and now also using the puck.js puckmote project.
Do you know if the flipper irdb is compatible with the probonopd database and could also be easily integrated?
Actually, I think yor ultimate remote would also be great to be supported by the AsTeRICS Grid program, directly. Is there a remote API (REST API,...) that can be used to trigger an IR-command?
Also using Ultimate Remote standalone, with some attached big external buttons, would be interesting. Would this be possible?
Thanks for your help.
