Printing from...

PrusaLink

Describe the bug

After updating MK3S+ firmware to 3.14.1, I updated PrusaLink to 0.8.1 by flashing the pi image on the SD card.
PrusaLink was correctly started upon first startup of the printer, and I was able to connect through the network.

After turning off and on the printer, PrusaLink now no longer boots up. The info screens only displays 'Prusa i3 MK3S OK'.

Additional info

  • Left the printer on for more than 1h
  • RPI port is still on

How to reproduce

The behavior below was reproduced 2 times

On MK3S with firmware 3.14.1

  • Flash PrusaLink 0.8.1
  • Start printer
  • PrusaLink boot is succesful
  • Reset the printer (off and on)
  • PrusaLink no longer boots, printer is not accessible on the network

Expected behavior

PrusaLinks boots up, PrusaLink info message is displayed on the info screen and, printer is accessible on the network

For me, this sounds like an Issue with your setup. I'm running PrusaLink 0.81 on a RPi3 and a MK3S+ with 3.14.1 without the issues you describe.

Please check the connection between Pi and Printer, Re-Flash the Firmware and re-install PrusaLink on a different SD card. This might help.
