Our Thesis ideas are descriptions for students who contemplate, whether to contribute to our project with their thesis.

I'll group CI focused thesis ideas under this ticket. If there is interest to either take one of the above Focuses, or new focus ideas appear, we'll make new tickets of them.

Describe the Business Problem

Focus options for a thesis:

1. Implementing relevant unit - integration - system testing across an open source project

• Thesis focus is organizational / tech leadership with technical implementation (balancing between these two, according on which side of this interests you most)
• End-to-end case would focus on eg. single team in this Project
• Output would be to produce description of Implementation and Lessons Learned to the thesis

2. Implementing automatic fuzzing tests to an open source project

• Technical implementation focus
• Case would focus on either on a product or a part of a product in this project
• Output would be implementation to a whole product, or a part of a product in this project, along with Lessons Learned into your thesis

General things with thesis work

The thesis focus should be suitably limited, so that:

• You get your thesis done in time & space
• Project gets a nice implementation
• Above all, you get practical skills & references on a field of work that supports your career
