From cohort 3, these are our thoughts on Chapter 04 Collective Geoms:
This chapter was a bit confusing due to the fact that we couldn't pin point the main idea or topic behind it.
The differentiation between individual geoms and collective geoms should be at the beginning of chapter 3.
Ideally, both chapters could have a similar structure since they are essentially discussing related topics.
We suggest picking a dataset with which you can have individual and collective geoms of different kinds so you can actually differentiate the way you graph each one. The dataset used in the book, Oxboys, is not the best one to exemplify this especially since you don't have more variables to exemplify the interaction.
The first section talks about collective geoms but the following sections talk about the group argument and it fails to relate it to the collective geoms. It is confusing.
