acmart supports biblatex, see section 2.14.2 of the docs:

scribble/acmart will need to configure the right options and include biblatex files:

acmauthoryear.bbx
acmauthoryear.cbx
acmdatamodel.dbx
acmnumeric.bbx
acmnumeric.cbx

that's all, i think.
