In the FITS writer interferometer specific values are calculated for the antenna_hdu. Some calculations seem to be wrong:

  • POLARX and POLARY differ from the values, which can be found in a fits file converted from a MeerKAT observation ms
  • there is still confusion about the ITRF coordinate frame
  • MeerKAT header differs from VLBA header -> investigation of compability problems
