Summary

Have Cohort members and guild members stay in the Hacker House funded by RaidGuild. It would allow more of us to be at Eth Denver doing things that bring in more work and awareness of RaidGuild. I have added to the scope activities that I think will specifically bring in more clients. The timing of this also ties in perfectly with cohort season 8, meaning I think we could have a lot of people attend. I would also like for this to be an opportunity to have HerDao members as a part of the cohort/hacker house

This is a quite time sensitive since Eth Denver is next month. I have done some initial research in this HackMD, but almost all of my choices have been taken. I'll just go with this one if no one has complaints.

Total ask: 4k, some of which will likely either return to the guild or fund season 8 dao
Cost Breakdown:

• 2-3k for an AirBnB booked for 4-5 days. Room for 8 to 10 people (those who commit early will have a bed). Gender seperated. Unused funds return to the guild

• 700 for activities:

  • Hackathon/Bounty Loser Pool: Teams who opt-in (subject to approval) and do not win a prize (but successfully finish and submit) will split the loser pool, recieving up to 50% value of the winning potential. In return, 10% of winning teams' prizes will go to season 8 dao. Assurance of payment will make participants more confident and bold in taking on challenges (increasing chances of winning). Unused funds go to season 8 dao

  • 10 Dollar Hot Leads: Talk to people at the event, and submit important hunting info (contact info, do they have grants programs, looking for freelancers?). There will be 10 hunting related questions worth 1 dollar each. Limit to 50 dollars/person

• 300 for incidentals (ex, unexpected fees. Will be returned to the guild if not needed)

• Free labor from Pupcakes, who is happy to get to go to Eth Denver

  • Track and report all expenses of the event
  • Support hackathon participants
  • Manage Loser Pool funds
  • Organize 10 dollar hot leads data
