1. Followed Guide installation for Windows
2. Installation Failed

I have followed the installation guide , added folder to exclusion give the folder full rwx permissions runs the msi from powershell and with double click all lead to the same result

Are you running the installer as an administrator?

I'm facing the same problem, i changed the folder to F:/, i changed the path in C:/ , i perform the installing admin on cmd and PowerShell, and nothing working

I've tested 6.3.48 installer without running it as administrator and got same result as reported, but when I applied the workaround from similar report before installation completed successfully.

Documentation needs to be updated to make it more clear that Administrator privileges are required for installation and how to obtain them.

Documentation has been updated now; Please Metasploit on Windows with the 'Run as administrator' functionality
