Chainlit interface give empty output despite model filepath present

Hello. Not sure why user interface is outputting empty despite the model filepath already being inside the file.

I ran my own instruction-data.json file into ch07 main code and it was able to output the model file path, below is the output json file with the response

Could you please share the code you have used for the interface?

Make sure you have the file downloaded at this location: ch07/01_main-chapter-code/gpt2-medium355M-sft.pth
With the information you have provided, it's hard to debug.

If you mean the code at the very end, this is a flask app, but the above screenshot shows a chainlit app. This won't work this way, these are different libraries. If you want to create a chainlit app, you'll have to use chainlit for it. Please see the code in app.py in ch07/06_user_interface, I would recommend to use that app.

Apologies for the confusion, I wasn't using the flask portion at the moment. I outputted the model file.pth from my code and saved it on my local desktop, then I did python -m chainlit run app.py inside app.py in ch07/06_user_interface

I assume your model path is wrong here, make sure it's correct in app.py. I cannot check that as I cannot see the code.
