FR: Add ability to wait "forever"

Currently there doesn't seem to way to wait for an undefined period of time for a resource.

In some of our workflows it may take days for a resource to become free. Although we could do with a really long timeout it would be better if we could just wait "forever" and cancel the request if need be.
