How to solve TypeScript error: getState does not exist on EnhancedStore?

The error:

error TS2339: Property 'getState' does not exist on type 'EnhancedStore<any, any, MiddlewareArray<any>>'.

The store is defined like this:

const store = configureStore({
  reducer: rootReducer,
  middleware,
  devTools: process.env.NODE_ENV !== "production",
  enhancers: [reduxBatch],
});

Please help me solve this. I just want to obtain the actual store data from the store object, not inside a component but inside a setup function.

In this case, either rootReducer or middleware could be typed incorrectly (they very likely are, judging from the anys in your error message). Also we have no idea how the code actually leading to the error looks like. You'll have to provide more context that that.

Yeah.. that AnyAction can either come from a middleware (do you still have that problem if you comment them all out?) or from that redux issue :/
What do you get when you hover your AppDispatch type?

If I remove all middlewares I get only one error:

The AppDispatch has the tooltip of this form when using no middlewares:

I tried to configure the store like this:

middleware: (getDefaultMiddleware) => [idleMiddleware]

and I see the same 15 errors appearing (I solved the other error that appeared alone).

The "complex" AppDispatch type there is the correct one. You 100% need to use the middleware callback with getDefaultMiddleware().concat. If it does not work with idleMiddleware, just do a idleMiddleware as Middleware, that should work.

That one remaining error seems to stem from an assignment to a pre-typed variable. In what code is that coming up?

I was astonished to see that idleMiddleware as Middleware makes all the 15 errors go away.

I solved that single error by replacing

export default function setupAxios(
  axios: AxiosStatic,
  store: EnhancedStore<any, any, MiddlewareArray<any>>
) {

with

export default function setupAxios(
  axios: AxiosStatic,
  store: EnhancedStore
) {

So now there are no more errors from RTK. I just have to solve a few with the Razzle server-side code and with the razzle.config.js file in my project.
