MDX routes not rendering with remark/rehype plugins

Hey all, I'm following the mdx configuration guide in the docs but my .mdx routes don't seem to be passed through the plugins

  ...
  mdx: async () => {
    const [remarkToc, rehypeSlug, rehypeAutolink] = await Promise.all([
      import("remark-toc").then((mod) => mod.default),
      import("rehype-slug").then((mod) => mod.default),

      remarkPlugins: [remarkToc],

};

Is there something else I should be doing?

Nevermind I think it's working as expected, I needed to clear the cache and rerun the server
