I've been using calibre to convert my manga chapters to epub. They take a year to load and then just don't work

Epubs support book covers as images, and I've seen books that have images inline too. So a manga seems possible.
dslibris doesn't do images at all, however. Book covers would be the first thing to support.
Image loading library code would be added and still keep the app memory under the DS limit.
